Agreeing to terms

When you use our services (website or app) you're agreeing to follow these rules (terms and conditions). Our terms and conditions explain what we expect from you and what you can expect from us.

What agreeing means

Saying yes to the rules

By using our services, you are agreeing to all the rules in these terms of service. If you don’t agree to all the rules, you can’t use our services.

Age requirement

You're confirming that you're at least 18 years old. If you're younger than 18, you're not allowed to use our services without the approval of a parent or guardian.

Privacy policy

By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are also agreeing to our privacy policy. Please read it before you use our service. It describes how we handle your information when you use our services.


Our services are not a replacement for therapy, and are not a form of therapy. 

They are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure medical or psychiatric conditions.

Subscriptions and billing

Some parts of our services can only be used if you pay for a subscription. This means you agree to pay money in advance regularly (monthly or annually) depending on what subscription plan you choose.

When your subscription time is up, it will automatically start again with the same conditions unless you decide to cancel it. 

Accurate billing information

You agree to give us accurate billing information to process your subscription payment.

If automatic billing fails, you may be blocked from use of our services until you provide us with accurate billing information to process your subscription payment.

How to cancel your subscription

If you decide you don't want your subscription to automatically renew, you can cancel at any time by clicking “Billing” on the Settings screen in the app.


If you’re unhappy with our services for any reason, please contact us at help@impactme.app from the email address you used to sign up.

We will review requests for refunds depending on your circumstances.

Changes to fees

We may change the price for subscriptions. If we're going to change the price, we'll let you know ahead of time before your current subscription ends.

We'll tell you about any price changes in advance, so you can decide if you want to cancel your subscription before the new price starts.

If you keep using the services after the new price starts, it means you agree to pay the new price.

Creating and managing your account

When you sign up for an account with us, you need to give us information that is correct, complete, and up-to-date. If you don't, we might have to close your account.

It’s your job to keep your email account safe so that your account cannot be accessed by someone else with access to your email.

It's your job to keep your password safe to make sure nobody else uses your account.

You agree to not share your password with anyone else. 

If you think someone else might have gotten into your account or if something else goes wrong, email us at help@impactme.app from the email address you used to sign up.

Who owns what

Intellectual property

Everything about the services that we made belongs to us. This includes content we create, and the features of our services.

Data you enter into our app is yours. You may request we delete it at any time. See our privacy policy for more information.

You are not allowed to use our logos or the way our services look without written permission from us first.

Your ideas and suggestions

When you give us feedback or ideas, you're letting us have all the rights to them. This means we can use, share, and work with your feedback any way we want.

We can do this without having to pay you or anyone else, and we can share these rights with others too.

Links to other sites

Our services might have links to websites or services that we don't own or control. We can't manage what they do or their policies on privacy and content.

We're not responsible for what happens on these third-party sites, including any harm or losses you might face by using them or relying on their content, products, or services.

We recommend that you always check the terms and privacy policies of any other websites or services you use to know what you're agreeing to.

Ending your use of the services

We have the right to pause or cancel your account at any time, without telling you first. If your account is canceled, you can't use our services anymore. 

If you decide you want to stop using our services and close your account, email us at help@impactme.app and we will delete your account and all associated data.

Limitation of liability

We are not responsible to you or anyone else, for any harm or damages that come from using our services. This includes problems like:

  • Not being able to get to your data

  • Someone else getting into your account or data without permission

  • Not getting the results you desire

We are not responsible for what any user or third party does with our services.

Offered "As is" and "As Available"

We're giving you our services just the way they are. We can't promise they are perfect or without any mistakes. We don't offer any guarantees about the services. We can't promise that everything will always work just right, that they will always be what you need, that you will get any specific results, or that they will work for you. We can't guarantee they won't have interruptions or that we'll always be able to fix any problems.

We don’t make any promises that everything about the services will be exactly as you hope, that they won't have any downtime, or that all the information you find will always be correct. We can't ensure that the services, or any emails from us won't have any bugs.

We can't promise that our services will be free of problems or that they will always fit your needs perfectly.

Governing law

The laws of Canada govern these terms of service and your use of our services.

Dispute resolution

If you have any concern or dispute about our services, you agree to make a reasonable effort to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us

United States legal compliance

You are not located in a country that is subject to a US government embargo or is named a “terrorist supporting” country.

You are not listed on any US government list of people or groups that aren't allowed to use certain services.


If a part of these terms can't be enforced or is found invalid, we'll adjust or interpret that part as best as we can to make sure it achieves what it was supposed to. The rest of the terms will still fully apply.


Just because we don't immediately act on a right or insist that you meet an obligation under these terms doesn't mean we've given up those rights. We can still demand those rights or that you fulfill those obligations later. 

If we overlook a breach by you once, it doesn't mean we'll overlook any future breaches.


We may update these terms.

If you keep using our services after the terms change, that means you accept the new terms. If you don't agree with the new terms then you should stop using our services.
